Save time at the counter when you check-in online. That way we'll have your driver information and preferences ready when you arrive at the counter. You'll be on the road - and on vacation - before you know it!
Skip the rental counter lines and check-in directly by using Alamo's touch-screen kiosk. Check-in using the kiosk and a receipt-sized rental agreement is printed. You'll be directed to your rental car on the lot. At the exit booth, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and simply drive away.
Follow the signs to baggage claim. Exit baggage claim and proceed to the shuttle bus pick up area. Upon arrival to the rental car facility, please proceed to the Alamo counter to obtain your rental agreement and vehicle keys.

The Alamo Chicago O'Hare Airport location is open 24/7 and offers both online check-in and a self-service kiosk, so you don't waste any time visiting the area's top sights.
Located right around the corner from the airport, the Fashion Outlets of Chicago offers 150 department stores, gift shops, and high-end boutiques all under one roof. Whether you're searching for a few new wardrobe staples or you simply want to engage in some retail therapy, this is your spot. If you work up an appetite, you'll find plenty of snacks and sit-down restaurants, too.
This expansive park is the ideal place to stretch your legs after a long flight. Schiller Woods features hiking trails, woodlands, a pond, and even a section of the Des Plaines River. This 284-acre preserve is expansive, so hone in on your area of interest or take your time exploring the grounds.
If you're in the mood for a cultural experience, drive to the Rosemont Theatre to see everything from Broadway shows to musicals. The on-site box office opens three hours before events, so you can even try to snag last-minute tickets.
If theater isn't your thing but you're still in the mood to see a show, go right around the corner to the Muvico Rosemont 18. This 18-screen Carmike Cinemas theater shows the latest releases, so you can even catch the newest blockbuster on a long layover.
Located just across the street from the Rosemont Theatre, the Catherine Chevalier Woods has natural habitats, hiking areas, and picnic spots. Keep your eyes open for wildlife sightings, too, as deer and other critters are known to frequent these woods.
Want to catch a game? Allstate Arena hosts AHL team the Chicago Wolves and DePaul University's men's basketball team. That isn't all, though. Depending on when you visit, you could catch a concert, a heated WWE match, or even an ice skating performance.
